Since there are many different types of eye conditions, it’s important to seek medical attention when you notice the first signs of one. Without the proper treatment, your vision problems could worsen. At our family optometry office, we take a comprehensive approach to each patient that comes through the door. From the initial diagnosis to finding the right treatment option, our eye doctors will be there each step of the way.

When you come into our family optometry office with an eye condition, our eye doctor will perform a thorough examination. This includes measuring the clarity of vision, eye pressure, evaluating the overall health of the eyes, and checking for any signs of an eye disease. Whether you’re struggling with blurry vision or inflammation in your eyes, our eye doctor will find the root of the issue. Once they’ve determined a diagnosis, they will develop a treatment plan in order to correct the vision problems or get rid of the eye disease. No matter the eye condition, our eye doctor will help you see clearer. If you're struggling with vision problems or another eye condition, contact one of our family optometry offices to schedule an appointment with an eye doctor!

Do You Have Any Of These Eye Conditions?

  • Amblyopia (Lazy Eye):  This is a lack of development of vision in an eye. Lazy eye is typically diagnosed between birth and early childhood. We recommend that all children, even if they do not have symptoms, come in for a comprehensive eye examination if there is a family history of any eye condition or disease.
  • Blepharitis:  This is inflammation of the eyelid/eyelashes. This stubborn eye condition can result from causes ranging from poor eyelid hygiene and low-grade bacterial infections to an allergic reaction in the oil gland.
  • Cataracts:  This condition is a clouding of the eye’s normally clear lens. It is unfortunately the leading cause of blindness. If the condition is disrupting your daily life, then we might recommend that you have cataract-removal surgery.
  • Computer Vision Syndrome:  If you sit in front of a computer screen all day, you might experience problems with dry eyes, poorly corrected vision, and sore eye muscles. This is also known as Computer Vision Syndrome. We can provide you with special lenses that are designed for computer work.
  • Dry Eye Syndrome:  If you have dry or burning eyes, you could be suffering from Dry Eye Syndrome. Proper care will increase the comfort of your eyes and also protect your them from future problems.
  • Strabismus:  This condition is when the eyes are misaligned or cross-eyed. This happens when the muscles that control eye movement are not properly working together. This is typically diagnosed during childhood.
